You'll be able watch the dolphins up close with the help of your captain.
Experience the natural habitat of dolphins on your boat ride. Our boats can be used as dive boats. Children will love to find and swim with dolphins, and even snorkel in the sea like SCUBA divers.
You will be visiting Panama City Pass, and exploring the area where St. Andrews Bay meets the Gulf of Mexico during your excursion. Here dolphins can be found and we will show you how to swim in the water to see them up close.
Our Dolphin & Island Tours last approximately 3 hours. Seasonally, departure times may vary. We currently leave the dock at 9:00 am and 12:30 pm.
This trip is for you if you want to have a personal encounter with the dolphins. It's not just a sightseeing tour. You get to choose the activities and how much time you spend on the tour.
Cancellation requests made within 24 hours of the tour date/time WILL NOT receive a refund, and WILL be charged the full amount of the tour.
Your captain can show you how to best enter the water, and get close up and personal with the dolphins. It is forbidden to swim or reach out towards dolphins. We use the most ethical approach to interaction with them by swimming parallel to them, as well as allowing them freely to approach us.
If conditions permit guests are welcome to swim with dolphins in the waters if this is possible. Safety is our first priority. Your captain will teach you how to safely snorkel with marine mammals.
For a maximum of 12, we can accommodate 6 boats. We can accommodate a maximum of 6 persons per boat. For a maximum of 12, we can arrange with local partners.

Private dolphin tours last 2 hours. The captain will reserve the boat exclusively for your family/group. Coast Guard regulations limit the number of passengers to 6, which includes infants and small children.
We had a wonderful trip! Christian, our captain, was an outstanding leader. We had everyone have fun, from children as young as 2 years old to those who are 81 years. We got to see dolphins, touched a jellyfish made of cannonballs, went to Shell Island and enjoyed the boat ride. Christo was extremely polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. Christo is our captain. Lagoon Pontoons booking staff was helpful and friendly. They answered all of my questions and offered suggestions for senior citizens and toddlers. 5 stars!! !

When is the Best Time to Visit Florida to See Dolphins? The best time to see dolphins is from late May to early August. You're most likely to see them between 10 a.m. and noon, and then again between 2 p.m. and dark.
